Job Title: Dining Services Associate - Utility

Department: Dining Services

Supervisor: Director of Dining Services, Assistant Director of Dining Services, Dining Services Managers, Shift Leaders

Schedule: Full-time (35 hrs) - Days/Evenings/Weekends

Must be available to work evenings and weekends.

 

DUTIES

Minimum Qualifications:

Education: High School Diploma preferred, not mandatory.

Experience: 1 year minimum food service employment preferred, not mandatory.

Licensure: N/A

 

Job Standards:

1.Must adhere to all Department of Public Health Food Safety and Sanitation Standards.

 

Essential Job Functions:

1.Sweeps and mops floors.

2.Empty garbage and recyclables in kitchen.

3.Cleans and sanitizes kitchen equipment.

4.Washes, rinses, and sanitizes pots and pans.

5.Uses commercial dish machine to wash, rinse, sanitize, and store dishes, flatware, utensils, etc.

6.Transports food and supplies to remote locations in facility.

7.Assists in any other phase of food service operations, as needed and as abilities and training permit.

8.Follows established safety regulations, assures maintenance of all work areas in a clean and orderly condition.

9.Performs other duties as instructed by supervisor.

 

QUALIFICATIONS

A minimum of a high school education or equivalent.
