Personal Trainer, Per Diem

Schedule can vary:

Days/Nights

5:00am - 9:00pm

The main function of a PT is to deliver safe, effective, fun and interesting workouts (in that order) to all fitness-training clients. Must be able to train and motivate ages 15-100, with a current PT certification, as well as a current CPR certifications. A minimum of two years' experience required. Must have a willingness and desire to be part of a team environment. Duties include but are not limited to:

- Assisting with nutritional advice

- Developing relationships with all members, regardless if it is a PT client or not

- Participating and assisting with facility events

- Staying up-to-date on training trends and keeping exercise routines fresh and exciting

- Understanding how to use all in-house fitness equipment and assisting members, regardless if it is a PT client or not, when needed

- Performing new member orientations, following The J new member protocol

- Assisting with keeping the training area organized and clean

- Filling out daily appointment sheets and turning them in at the end of each shift

- Creating and executing ideas on how to increase client base

- Communicating to the membership, all upcoming events, membership specials and new classes when needed

- Committing to checking work email a minimum of once a day

- Reports to Fitness Director
