Front Desk Coordinator Job Description

The Front Desk Coordinator is a full time position, who must excel at customer service and will not only act as the "host or hostess" to all members and prospective members walking into the club but will be the head of the Front Desk Team. Must be available to work a variety of shifts throughout the week, include evening and weekend hours, to have expert knowledge on every front desk task during all hours of operation.  Must be proficient in Microsoft Word and Excel with a minimum of one year managerial experience.  Must have a willingness and desire to be part of a team environment. Duties include but are not limited to:

 

  • Managing the Day-to-Day Schedule of the Front Desk Team
    • Ensure all shifts are appropriately staffed for the week
  • Staff Training and Quarterly Evaluations
    • Train all new front desk staff using the J Fitness training manual
    • Assist with quarterly evaluations of all front desk staff
  • Managing the Juice Bar
  • Weekly Inventory
  • Placing weekly orders for all needed products
  • Managing the Task List
  • Responsible for making sure all tasks are completed appropriately and on time
  • Update the list and roll out all changes to the staff
  • Assisting with Weekly Payroll
  • Excelling at all Front Desk Staff responsibilities and Ensuring the Desk Runs Smoothly at All Times
    • POS System; Mindbody
    • Task List
    • X Out/Z Out Process
    • Membership Sales/Tours
    • Juice/Shake Bar
    • Inventories
    • Phones
  • Responsible for Facility Walk-Throughs
  • Making sure the facility is clean and all equipment is in working order
  • Additional Duties Include but are Not Limited To
  • Sharing on call duty with General Manager and Assistant General Manager
